They say that writing a book is a solitary journey, but looking back today, I can tell you that publishing ten of them is an absolute community effort.
Today is an incredibly emotional day in my world. My tenth novel, After Light, is officially live, out in the wild, and ready for you to read. Writing ten books still feels a bit surreal to type out, but what makes today feel like absolute magic is a beautiful coincidence happening right alongside it.
Today, my tenth book hits shelves. Tomorrow, June 17th, the wonderful independent bookshop where my author career first kicked off is celebrating their 10-year birthday.
Talk about a perfect full-circle moment. Ten books for me; ten years for the shop that first welcomed my stories, believed in a local indie author, and gave me a platform to connect with readers. It feels as though the stars completely aligned for this release. It reminds me of how far we’ve come together, and I am so deeply grateful to every reader, book blogger, and fellow author who has walked this path with me from that very first chapter.
