Six years ago, I released my debut novel, Reasonable Lies. Since that day in 2020, my life has changed in ways I never could have predicted. I’ve written and published nine more novels, built an incredibly supportive community of readers, and watched Jane, Karl, and Sarah’s story find its way onto the devices and bookshelves of over 1,500 of you on Amazon alone.

To say I am grateful is a massive understatement. Reasonable Lies remains my best-seller, and the love you have shown this story has been the driving force behind my entire writing journey.

But as any writer will tell you, you aren't the same author ten books later as you were when you wrote your first.

Lately, I found myself repeatedly drawn back to Jane's story. I wanted to give her, Karl, and Sarah the deeper, more refined narrative they truly deserved. And today, I am absolutely thrilled to announce the official re-launch of Reasonable Lies: The Second Edition.

"But didn't you have editors the first time around?"

Yes, absolutely! In fact, back before the book first launched in 2020, I had two professional editors look the manuscript over.

But there is a massive difference between professional editing and author growth.

In the six years since my debut, I have spent thousands of hours studying the craft, refining my voice, and learning how to capture the raw, messy beauty of human emotion on the page. When I looked back at Reasonable Lies recently, I didn't see mistakes; I saw opportunity.

I saw places where the silence could be heavier, where the grief could be more authentic, and where Jane's quiet, bittersweet conversations on that special bench could hold a much deeper magic. I wanted to use everything I’ve learned over my last nine novels to make my very first book the absolute masterpiece it was always meant to be.
